WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

To help answer that question, consider the perspectives of law students, Freddy and Krista, who landed great legal jobs.

Freddy’s Story

Freddy was a 3L at a third-tier law school who barely made the top third of his class.  He had no job prospects.  Nevertheless, he was able to land his dream legal job by shifting his focus from “me” to “them.”

During the program, you will learn why a cover letter is often more important than the resume it introduces.  And, you will learn the precise steps Freddy took to research the prospective employer and write a clear concise cover letter that specifically related his experience to the goals of the perspective employer.  And that, in turn, enabled him to ace the interview and secure the position.

Krista’s Story

In her first year at a top 25 law school, Krista had achieved mediocre grades and was unsuccessful in the fall interviewing program.  However, she was eventually able to secure her dream legal job doing tax litigation at the end of her third year.

During the program, you will discover the research methods Krista used to prepare for her interviews.  And, you will learn how she used the information to ask relevant questions during the interview that demonstrated her understanding of the firm’s needs, challenges, and goals and positioned her as the best candidate for the job.

My Story

Like Krista and Freddy, I earned mediocre grades as a 1L and was unsuccessful in the fall interviewing program.  The career development office told me to rethink my plans.  Professors, fellow students, and alumni also told me to lower my sights. I didn’t listen.  I thought there had to be another way…and there was.

What I discovered yielded three interviews and two big firm offers one month before graduation.  And I ended up with a position in a top firm that had rejected me on two previous occasions.

Your Story

This program will teach you the exact same strategies and tactics that helped Freddy, Krista, me, and so many other law students identify and land great legal jobs.  I’ll provide you with all of the strategies and tools you will need.

Will you be the next success story?

What Students are Saying about How to Land a Great Legal Job

“I’m glad I took my mentor’s advice who said great things about the program and advised me to enroll. Adam helped me get clarity regarding my career path and gave me concrete actionable items to work on. In less than three months after the program, I have landed a desired internship for the current semester, my first choice in fellowship opportunities for the summer, and a coveted firm job for next Fall. Without Adam’s help and guidance, I wouldn’t have known how to navigate this hiring process properly.”
—Estefania P., 2L, George Washington University Law School

“It was definitely worth my time and money. I am really glad I took the workshop. Not only did it provide some discrete action items, but it put me in the proper mindset before starting my 2L year. I just completed an informational interview and it was the best one I’ve had to date, largely thanks to the lessons I took from the workshop. I was specific about my asks and well prepared.”
—Will E., 2L, George Washington University Law School

“The course this week was awesome! It was beneficial to hear other law students’ perspectives especially when we talked about types of lawyers and employers and you created a comfortable environment that fostered conversation.”
—Samantha O., 3L, George Washington University Law School

“I really appreciated your perspective. And I plan to make changes to how I’ve been approaching job hunting and applications. I would definitely recommend your seminar to others.”
—Lesley M., 3L, George Washington University Law School

“I really enjoyed Adam’s class. I appreciated the lessons about switching the focus from myself on to the employer; it was such a helpful perspective and helped me approach cover letters, informational interviews, etc. better. I have since shared the career advice with my friends and family who have said the perspectives and guidance have been really helpful.”
—Noga B., 3L, George Washington University Law School

“I really feel so much more confident about the job search, both for 2L summer and beyond, than I was before. I was dealing with a lot of stress about the search and now that I feel so prepared after the program, it really feels like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.”
—Sami M., 2L, George Washington University Law School

“I got a full-time offer from a great firm earlier today. I would definitely say it’s my dream job and the advice you gave during the class helped me get it.”
